What the heck just happened? I went to buy Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on Steam and an enter your date of birth screen popped up. I entered in the day and the month but when I went to click on the "2008" I accidentally clicked on the submit button beside it.

Now all features on the steam store say: "sorry, you are unable to access this feature at this time"

I have logged in and out a few times, I can't find anywhere to resubmit this information. This is ridiculous! Am I not going to be able to buy steam games until the year 2026 now? (18 years from 2008 LOL)

no. i believe they ask you again in a few days, something i personally find annoying cuz i have to keep entering my bd to see games, but probably good thing for you.

you're too young for Vegas Six 2, kid. wait till you're 18 to play it.

(contact steam support, they should take care of you)

I hate that kinda crap.. Usually I just pick some year in the 1970s and go with Jan 1st. I mean seriously, who cares? It's not hard for a 10 year old to figure out how to change the year to something earlier to obtain access.

Anyway, it should ask again in a few days, if not, do what has been suggested and contact support.

It covers Valve's ass in case of a lawsuit. Nothing more, nothing less.

I would post this thread on the Steam forums. You're more likely to get help there than here.

Yea ask him if he wants to wee-wee and if he says yes....Busted! But then can a 1 year old say "yes"? Wow, this gets tougher to verify..... :)

I did this trying to buy Crysis. Restart Steam and wait a few days and it will work correctly.

Use a program like CCleaner to clear the cache and cookies off your PC. Reboot then you should be fine. That happened to me b4.

Or right click "Internet" on the start menu, then "Properties", Finally there's a button under the "Browsing History" section of the first tab labeled "Delete..." Much quicker and easier than downloading some crap program that goes mucking about the registry and hard drive deleting shit that the author thinks your system doesn't need anymore.

LOL, I always pick the lowest date they offer. 1901 is when I was born! No fancy PC's back then , just checkers if you were lucky, and I had to walk 18 miles uphill both ways to school!

As was stated, clearing your cookies might fix your problem, otherwise contact STEAM.
